Art Krummel:
Krummel served six years as an infantryman in the Ohio National Guard. During his time in the 145th Infantry Division, he worked in the newspaper industry in Akron. On May 4th, his squad was assigned to guard a water and waste treatment plant in the city of Kent. A local police officer informed Krummel of the shootings at the Kent State campus. Krummel now lives in Tallmadge.
