Ronald Gammell:
Gammell signed up for the National Guard as a junior in high school, and served from 1965 to 1971. He worked as an apprentice pipefitter in a paper mill when he was deployed to Kent in 1970. His unit was positioned on Blanket Hill at the time of the shootings. The Wooster native now lives in Chippewa Lake.
