Barry Morris:
Morris served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971, during which time his Ravenna-based unit was called out numerous times. During his Guard years, he worked at Morgan Adhesives Company in Stow. A staff sergeant in Troop F, he was one of the eight Guardsmen indicted and ultimately acquitted after the Kent State shootings. Morris has lived in Kent -just four miles from the KSU campus - since 1974.
